Councillor Stephen Tancred has tendered his resignation from the Stanthorpe 150th Anniversary Celebration Advisory Committee.
His resignation has caused a delay on the 5 October meeting, which will be postponed until the matter has been considered by Council and advice provided about appointment of a new Councillor representative.
A report will be going to the next Council meeting seeking appointment of another Councillor to the S150ACAC, as the Terms of Reference require two (2) Councillor representatives appointed by Council.
Councillor Tancred confirmed this to be true, and stated he had no idea who might replace him.
