The Darling Downs Hospital and Health Board has a new board chairman following the retirement of Mike Horan AM.
Minister for Health, Mental Health and Ambulance Services Shannon Fentiman announced the nine-person board which would govern the Darling Downs Hospital and Health Service, including the Warwick Hospital and Stanthorpe Hospital.
Dr Campbell transitioned from Deputy Chair to Chair.
The newest member of the board is Merrilyn Strohfeldt who has previously been CEO of the Darling Downs and West Moreton Primary Health Network. The Board members also include Professor Maree Toombs, Mrs Patricia Leddington-Hill, Dr Ross Hetherington, Emeritus Professor Julie Cotter, Mrs Marie Pietsch, Mr Terrence Kehoe and Dr Stephen Harrop.
