The postponed Border Rugby League competition officially kicks off this weekend with a round robin for all the senior clubs at the Gremlins homeground in Stanthorpe on Saturday afternoon.

The competition had been due to start earlier this month but the draw had to be reworked after the withdrawal of the Tenterfield seniors just two days before the start of the season.

As well as the seniors, the Stanthorpe Gremlins will also host a full range of junior rugby league on Saturday. It is round two of the competition with the opening round being across the Border region at the weekend including Inglewood where Samantha Wantling was on-hand to capture action from the opening round.
