TENTERFIELD Shire is waiting to “meet and greet” its new residents.
An informal meet and greet will be held at the Tenterfield Golf Club this coming Sunday, 17 November, from 4pm to 6pm.
Newcomers will have the opportunity to hear about the various clubs, societies and other organisations in the shire which may be of interest to them.
Recent arrivals will also be able to offer any skills or experience they have which could be of benefit to the local community.
There is no charge, it is purely a goodwill occasion to facilitate the exchange of information.
The golf club is on Pelham Street on the northern side of Tenterfield township.
