Mander boosts chaplaincy

A BEAUTIFUL dinner, an interesting guest speaker – and all in the name of good cause, what more could you want?
Former NRL referee turned politician, Tim Mander, will be guest speaker at the Granite Belt Chaplaincy Fund-raising Dinner on Wednesday 10 June from 6.30pm for a 7pm start.
The dinner will be held at Happy Valley Retreat, 146 Glenlyon Drive in Stanthorpe with special guest Tim Mander MP.
School chaplains are in the prevention and rescue business.
They’re helping students find a better way to deal with issues ranging from family breakdown and loneliness to drug abuse, stress and anxiety.
This entertaining evening will include a three-course meal, lucky door prizes, raffles, a charity auction and live entertainment by Georgia Marcus, with all proceeds going towards our local Granite Belt Chaplaincy program.
