It has been brought to my attention that the position of my car adjacent to Weeroona Park may have been misinterpreted by those attending the Anzac Day observances as having a crass and political motive; I assure them that this was not the case.
I apologise to anyone genuinely distressed by this, and I ask that they understand my motives for parking there had nothing to do with my campaign and everything to do with being able to access my car easily once I had finished singing in the Anzac Day Service with the Granite Belt Choir.
Please accept my sincere apology.
