In other TRL news the Warwick Cowboys Under 19 side forced their way into the finals after they defeated Valleys in a midweek playoff at Platz oval last week.

On Saturday they travelled to Goondiwindi and won a tough game against Dalby. The Cowboys led 10-6 at half time and with four minutes left on the clock Dalby after trailing 16-12 Dalby scored to level the scores. A conversion would have given Dalby the lead but was unsuccessful and the scores were tied up at 16 all.

In a dramatic finish Dalby conceded a penalty in front of the upright and Nick Carrie easily slotted the conversion to give his side the win.
