Spring is here!

After months of hiding away from the cold, it’s finally time to embrace the change of season and what better way to celebrate than picking out exquisite florals and greenery for your garden?

Well, Mick’s 4 Seasons Nursery at Applethorpe is the perfect place to be and will meet all your garden needs.

Owner Michael Brisotto said as the weather gets warmer, the business always attracts people who visit specifically to buy trees.

“It provides shade for the warmer months,” Michael said.

But it’s not just trees that are popular at this time of year, as the owner explained that customers are often seeking a splash of colour to brighten up their yards.

“Flowers, for instance, are bright and cheery – it gets them into the Spring mood,” Michael said.

Lavenders and daisies are particularly popular and after 10 years of owning Mick’s 4 Seasons Nursery, Michael said there was always a great variety of plants on offer – and plants that haven’t been around during the winter months.

“This time of year is a great growing season and everyone’s refreshing their vege patch,” he said.

“It’s a great time to get a new pot plant to freshen up your outdoor entertainment area.”

The business also has a gift shop on hand, where curious customers can purchase pots and all your garden essentials – “the little bits and pieces,” according to Michael.

Now’s the time to see what’s on offer at Mick’s 4 Seasons Nursery, located at 21 Ann St, Applethorpe.
