The Warwick Choral Society will hold a Musical Memories concert next Sunday 25 September at Williams Hall on Guy Street.

The event starts at 2 pm, with the $15 extra fee covering an afternoon tea.

The choral society has been running for more than 40 years, since the early 60s.

Some members have only come this year, while others are seasoned professionals.

The concert will feature popular songs that everyone will know, such as Can You Feel The Love Tonight from The Lion King and Yesterday by The Beatles.

Both songs were introduced for the group’s Bony Mountain Festival performance, which was in honour of the former Queen’s Jubilee.

The Musical Memories concert was originally going to be held prior to the pandemic, but was delayed.

The group always welcomes new members, and would love some male singers.

They said it’s been really lovely to have new members recently.

“We come because we like singing.”

The group rehearses on Mondays from 4 pm to 6 pm at their hall on Percy Street near the Girl Guides Hall.

Tickets for the concert will be available at the event, and if you’re interested in joining the group you can call Frances on 4667 4172 or looking the group up on Facebook at Warwick Choral Society Inc. Queensland, Australia.
