Warwick school teacher dies in motor vehicle crash

Assumption College, Warwick, teacher Jane Ezzy, was tragically killed in a motor vehicle crash at the 8 Mile intersection on Friday.
Principal Peter Moloney said Mrs Ezzy was a valued and highly respected staff member and friend to many staff members and students at the college.
“We offer our condolences to Jane’s husband Stuart and also to her immediate family, friends and loved ones,” Mr Moloney said.
“Once we became aware of this tragic event, the normal school routine was abandoned for the day,” he said.
It is believed Mrs Ezzy, in her early 20s, attempted to turn south onto the Cunningham Highway in her sedan when it had been struck by a B-Double travelling north on Friday morning.
