Top acts at Harmony concert

Goregeous harmonies: Months of rehearsals ensure Warwick's East Street Singers always deliver a polished performance.

Penny Davies and Roger Ilott are a well-known folk duo based at Storm King on the Granite Belt.

They moved from Sydney to Queensland in 1983 and established their own record label, Restless Music in 1987.

Penny and Roger have released more than 20 albums since they began recording together.

They are best known for the 1999 album Opal Miner – The Songs Of Bill Scott.

The songs Hey Rain! and Where the Cane Fires Burn featured on bestselling ABC albums Australia All Over Volumes One and Two.

They have been featured artists at various festivals, including Woodford, and the National Folk Festival.

East Street Singers is a long-established chamber choir directed by Warwick’s Jill Hulme. The choir performs a broad repertoire and has performed at sold-out concerts ranging from Vivaldi and Purcell to Jumpers and Jazz.

The Goodwills (Bob and Laurel Wilson) are another Warwick duo who caught the attention of Ian McNamara.

He included three of Bob’s original songs on compilation albums, including a ballad about a lovelorn woman, spurned by her Internet-obsessed husband.

The Goodwills have produced six albums since 1998 and have performed at clubs and festivals in Australia, the UK, Canada and New Zealand.
