Beloved Stanthorpe resident Enid Hamilton has died at the age of 101 years.
An avid local historian, author and a patron of the Stanthorpe Historical Society, Enid was one of those people who was involved in the community into her very old age.
She was a long-time columnist for the Border Post, wrote a book “The Story of Pozieres“, and to celebrate her old primary school’s 75th anniversary she penned the “Chronicles of Thulimbah State School“.
Stanthorpe Today will have a tribute to Enid’s life and accomplishments in a paper soon.
