Deano Yipadee is a number one best selling children’s author, musician, and performer who tops best-sellers charts in Australia, New Zealand and the UK.

Deano’s debut album originally hit the top of the UK Children’s Album best-sellers charts in 2012, beating out top names such as ‘Now That’s What I Call Disney.’ Later that year, he headlined the Children’s Field at the world famous Glastonbury Music Festival in the UK, then toured extensively with CBeebies TV presenters. Soon after, he designed and completed a 35-show tour of New Zealand with international best-selling author of Wonky Donkey fame, Craig Smith. Craig loved Deano’s songs so much that he sent them to Scholastic, a powerhouse international publisher. Deano’s first book contract was signed two weeks later, and his first book sold out of three print runs in Australia as it headed straight to the top of the Children and Teens Best-Sellers Chart in New Zealand.

Deano has recorded with TV stars from ABC, CBeebies, Coronation Street and more. He spent time in the recording studio with Ed Sheeran and Justin Timberlake, and released ten books into more than 20 countries with Scholastic. Deano now develops fun music videos for his YouTube channel and performs more than 200 live shows per year in Australia, New Zealand, the UK ,and the USA.

Before becoming an author, Deano studied a Bachelor of Education at Otago University in New Zealand; however, he was offered a job in Media and spent years hosting radio shows throughout New Zealand and the UK. Deano has lived in New Zealand, Japan, the UK, the USA, and now resides in Hervey Bay, Queensland, with his wife and two children.
