The Warwick Cowboys will be without the services of influential halfback Ben Sullivan after he ruptured his Achilles tendon in the Cowboys game against Brothers two weeks ago.
Sullivan was sideline at Fr Range Oval on Saturday with his leg in a brace supporting the Cowboys. Ben confirmed that he is booked for surgery on Monday and it is definitely season over for him.
While not prepared to call time on his career just yet, the 32-year-old is realistic about his future saying that at his age he does not expect his recovery to be quick.
He also indicated work commitments may play a significant role in any decision around his future in the game.
