In today’s fast-paced digital world, harnessing the power of social media has become essential for individuals and businesses alike.

Recognising the significance of this medium, the Stanthorpe and Granite Belt Chamber of Commerce has asked renowned social media strategist Tracy Sheen to hold workshops to equip participants with the knowledge and skills to thrive in the ever-evolving social media landscape.

Tracy, known as The Digital Guide, is the author of ‘The End of Technophobia: A Practical Guide to Digitising Your Business’, which was voted the Australian Business Book Awards Book of the Year in 2021 and Best Technology Book at the same awards.

She will present two sessions. The first will be Navigating the Social Media Landscape, which compares personal versus business for Fecebook, Instagram and Linkedin as well as guiding people through the best way to present a post on the different platforms. People will leave the workshop with the ability to write a successful post and understand the secrets of hashtags. This workshop will be held at the Queensland College of Wine Tourism on Wednesday 14 June, starting at 6pm. There is no fee to Chamber of Commerce members, and non-members can book for the workshop for just $20.

Elevate your Social Media Game and will be presented the next morning (Thursdy 15 June) at 7am, also at the Queensland College of Wine Tourism.

In this she will guide people in creating a single-page social media strategy, take a dive into content creation for social media (including AI to generate content) and show people the time-saving technique of scheduling content. This workshop is also free to members and just $20 to others.

People who have workshopped with Tracy Sheen before say that her engaging teaching style captivated them from the start. With practical demonstrations and real-world examples, Tracy will show workshoppers how to build a loyal online community and convert followers into loyal customers.
