The ARK pet of the week for this week is Rosie a un-loving, affectionate and playful Black Lab x Border Collie, a breed mix sometimes referred to as a Borador.
She was born on 11 July 2018.
Attractive, intelligent, and super-friendly, Rosie has the perfect temperament for playing at home with older kids and accompanying her active family on adventures. She loves to go on outings and walks.
Still puppy-like despite her age, Rosie is strong and energetic. She can be quite exuberant so is not a suitable playmate for young children.
She thrives on human company so we’re looking for an active home for her where her humans are around most of the time.
Rosie is dog-friendly with well-mannered dogs. She is irritated by dogs that snap and bark in her face – and who could blame her?
As always, secure fencing is essential. Rosie is quite athletic and can jump a 4 ft fence.
She is not compatible with cats or poultry.
For those interested in meeting this lovely girl and can offer her a suitable, safe and loving forever home, please complete the online adoption application at southerndownsark.com.au/apply-to-adopt/ and one of our volunteers will be in touch.
Her adoption fee is $400. She’s desexed, vaccinated and microchipped.
