QCWA offers bursaries for tertiary students

Students embarking on their tertiary education journey in the coming academic year are encouraged to apply for the QCWA Condamine Valley/Warwick Branch Bursaries.

This opportunity extends to eligible candidates residing in the area covered by the QCWA Border Division.

The QCWA Condamine Valley/Warwick Branch is making available three Bursaries, each valued at $2,000, to support full-time students, regardless of gender, entering their first year of a tertiary course. These bursaries are specifically designed to assist students facing financial challenges, aiming to alleviate the burden of educational expenses.

Penny Campbell-Wilson, the QCWA Bursary Organiser, highlighted the significance of this initiative, emphasising that the Bursaries aim to empower deserving students to pursue higher education despite financial constraints.

Applications for the QCWA Condamine Valley/Warwick Branch Bursaries will be accepted until 31st January at 5:00 p.m. Prospective applicants can obtain the application forms in person from the QCWA Rooms, located at 76 Grafton Street, Warwick.

The Rooms are open from Tuesday to Friday, with operating hours spanning from 9.00am to 2.00pm. Additionally, application forms can be accessed through the QCWA website or by reaching out to ipcw7@bigpond.com.au.

As the deadline approaches, eligible students are encouraged to seize this opportunity to ease their financial burden and embark on a successful academic journey. The QCWA Condamine Valley/Warwick Branch remains dedicated to supporting local students in achieving their educational aspirations.
