The Stanthorpe & Granite Belt Chamber of Commerce recently hosted a networking event that featured a special highlight – the presentation of a Rotary Paul Harris award. These networking events are key opportunities for local businesses to forge valuable connections and showcase their services to fellow Chamber members.

A Chamber spokesperson emphasised the personal growth that can come from these events, noting, “Networking can help you grow your confidence in yourself as well. You will see that other members have the same struggles and challenges as you are faced with.”

Joining a Chamber of Commerce offers numerous benefits, with networking being a significant one. These gatherings not only help cultivate business opportunities but also foster lasting relationships among like-minded professionals.

The evening’s networking session also served as the perfect setting to honour Chamber President Graham Parker with the prestigious Rotary Paul Harris Award. This accolade was given in recognition of Parker’s outstanding contributions to the community.

Graham expressed his gratitude for the recognition, stating that he was deeply honoured to receive the award.
