A family affair

It has been a big year for rugby converts and Warwick Cowboy stars, brother’s Joseph and Alfred Vite.

The two young New Zealanders have been vital to the success of the Warwick Cowboys reserve grade and first grade teams this year.

Joseph has been integral to the A grade side as well as starring in representative games. Later this month he will line up as part of the Queensland Country team as part of the Country City game to be played as the curtain-raiser for the Queensland Cup grand final.

Alfred has impressed in the reserves and when he has stepped up to firsts.

To say thank you for all their efforts this year, the Cowboys recently flew the young players sister and parents over to watch them play a finals games.

The pair had not seen the rest of the family for two years since leaving New Zealand to try their luck playing league in Australia.
