The Eastern Suburbs Rugby League Club is calling for urgent community support to help keep its doors open.

Facing a critical financial challenge, the club has reached out to local residents and beyond, asking for pledges of financial support over the next two weeks to assess the viability of continuing its activities.

Darren Hart, the club’s president is calling out far and wide within the community.

“Your commitment will help us determine if we can move forward and make informed decisions at our upcoming meeting,” he said.

The club is requesting that community members pledge an amount they are willing to contribute by 24 September.

These pledges will be reviewed to assess whether the club can continue operating.

After the pledge period ends, the club will hold a decision meeting to discuss the future.

Darren encourages anyone willing to help to submit their pledge via messenger or email to pettifordcj@hotmail.com.

For further information, Darren can be contacted at 0429 990 180.

“Your support is crucial for our future. We deeply value your involvement and hope we can count on you during this pivotal time,” he said.

The club has a long history in Warwick, and this appeal is seen as a final effort to secure its future and continue serving the local rugby league community.
