Numbers on the up

Cattle and sheep numbers were on the up as growers, uncertain to the rain predictions looked to offload some stock in case of no rainfall. The markets were easier across most descriptions as more stock poured onto the markets this week, with some large numbers of cattle yarded in Roma and Dalby this week. The local market was firm to a shade easier across both the main selling stock, with some types improving in price. The good light and trade types as well as cows were firm with some good local support as well as the usual processors. Sheep and Lamb numbers were also up with some good runs of western lambs available as well as local suppliers for both the processor as well as the restockers.
