The Country Spring Fair brought a wave of family fun to the Southern Downs, with locals and visitors flocking to Leslie Park to enjoy a full day of activities, entertainment, and delicious food.

From the moment the gates opened, the atmosphere was electric, with families and friends embracing the festivities in true spring style.

Children were treated to an array of entertainment, from teacup rides and jumping castles to mini putt-putt and circus-themed activities, keeping smiles on their faces all day long.

Meanwhile, attendees of all ages dived into the fun, with highlights including the always popular eating competitions, a butcher skills showcase, and a live cooking demonstration by sous chef Jackson from Warwick’s Gardens Galore.

The main stage provided a backdrop of fantastic live music, featuring performances from local talents such as Nine Year Sister, Jodie Ellis, Mitch King, Mitch Smith, and the Fern Brothers, who had the crowd dancing well into the evening.

The markets showcased a variety of local artisans, and the watercolour painting classes added a creative touch to the day’s offerings.

Food and drink stalls kept everyone satisfied, from Blue Roan Coffee Van’s smoothies and toasties to the charcuterie packs from Katie’s Cocktail Café, and Cancer Council’s classic steak burgers and chips.

“We honestly can’t thank everyone enough for coming along,” the Warwick Chamber of Commerce posted to Facebook after the event.

“The atmosphere was amazing all day, and it was heartwarming to see everyone enjoying themselves and supporting local businesses.

“A huge thanks to Club Warwick RSL and Warwick Credit Union for their generous support in making the day such a success.”
