Cool runnings

In brief

WARWICK’s art gallery needs new air-conditioning, and council may have to dip into the budget for new carpets to pay for it.
The Southern Downs Regional Council was told the air-conditioners were near the end of their useful life.
Councillor Jo McNally said the air-conditioners were outside and froze up in winter.
“You see the art gallery director out there pouring water on them,” Cr McNally said.
CEO Andrew Roach was asked to investigate, assess requirements for new air-conditioners and report back to council.
