Weighing around 23 kilograms, Beckham is a confident and intelligent boy who has already established a solid foundation in his training. He walks beautifully on the lead, travels well in the car and is both crate trained and house trained. He understands boundaries within the home and is eager to please.
Beckham is full of personality and thrives on activity and interaction. He particularly enjoys toys, especially squeaky ones, and will happily entertain himself or engage in play with his people. He also loves water, walks and outings, making him an ideal companion for an active household.
While Beckham can live with other dogs given the right introduction, he would be equally happy as the sole focus of his owner’s attention. He forms strong bonds with his people and is naturally loyal and attentive.
Due to his enthusiasm and strength, Beckham would be best suited to a home with older children or adults. He also has a prey drive, so a home without cats or small animals is recommended.
