Things to help keep the kids amused over the holidays

Five things to do with the kids over the school holidays in the Southern Downs and Granite Belt regions.

1. Have a Girraween family camping adventure in a nature park.

Get back to the bush and set the kids free with many walking tracks to choose from, wildlife spotting and healthy outdoor fun.

2. The Granite Belt Maze and Mini Golf will keep the youngest and older kids entertained for hours.

Kids under five gain free entry.

Located at 364 Old Warwick Road, Glen Niven.

3. The WIRAC in Warwick offers school holiday programs to keep the kids entertained.

One of there most enjoyed programs is the Ninja Warrior and swim.

It combines a 60 minute obstacle course fully supervised by qualified instructors then free use of the pools.

29 Palmerin St, Warwick QLD 4370.

4. Visit the Granite Belt Christmas Farm.

It might not be Christmas yet but the Christmas spirit can be felt anytime of year.

Enjoy a picnic amongst the Christmas trees or feed the animals.

The Rudolf ice cream bar is always a treat and the Christmas shop is open too.

Located at 321 Aerodome Rd, Applethorpe QLD 4378.

5. Warwick Library is hosting many free events during the school holidays.

Check out there Facebook page for details.
