Heavy vehicle incident
On Friday 7 October at approximately 5.30 pm, Killarney police responded to an incident on the Warwick Killarney Road involving a heavy vehicle.
A fully laden B Double semi-trailer travelling west at Loch Lomond lost its second trailer after it detached and left the road.
Fortunately no-one was injured and there was no sign of damage to any other property.
Police were required to close the Warwick Killarney Road for a short time.
A crane was utilised to recover the trailer.
Initial investigations suggest mechanical failure may have been the cause of the incident.
Various charges
On Tuesday 11 October, a 51 year old Warwick man was arrested and charged with a number of offences including drug, weapon and traffic related charges.
The man is alleged to have evaded Miriam Vale police on the 3 October and also failed to stop for Killarney police on 29 September.
He is due to appear in the Warwick Magistrates court on Monday 24 October.
Drug driver
A drug driver was intercepted on Wentworth Street in Warwick on Saturday 8 October at 6 am.
The 49-year-old man is due to appear in Warwick Magistrates court on Monday 28 November.
Keys, wallet stolen
Car keys and a wallet were stolen from a home on Willi Street on Sunday 9 October at 1.40 am.
Two young men broke into the residence though one of the doors. They unlocked the vehicle and rummaged through the content and were seen riding away on bicycles.
The car was not stolen and the offenders are still outstanding.
Between 9.30 pm on Saturday 8 October and 7.30 am on Sunday 9 October entry was gained through an unlocked front door.
The perpetrator took a hand bag and unlocked the vehicle outside.
The vehicle was not stolen.
Secured car stolen
A 2012 Nissan XTrail was stolen on Capital Drive between 7 pm on Sunday 9 October and 6 am Monday 10 October.
The vehicle was locked and securely parked in the driveway.
It is unknown how the offender acquired entry.
The vehicle was located on Tuesday 11 October not to far away at the Killarney Vista.
It was undamaged.
Robbed on holidays
Between Saturday 1 October and Wednesday 12 October residents of a house in Donald Street were away on holidays when they were told their home had been broken into. The offender gained entry through a rear window.
An amount of jewelry was stolen. There was no other damage.
