Beautiful Bindi in new home search

Please meet Miss Bindi, a highly intelligent, affectionate and well-trained Blue Cattle Dog, looking for a safe and loving home.

Bindi was very reluctantly surrendered to by her original owner due to increasing friction between herself and her elderly Jack Russell “brother“, with whom she’d lived since joining the family as a tiny pup.

Bindi is very well-trained, can do some nifty tricks, loves ball play and is great with kids. Overall, she’s an ideal house dog.

Although she’s currently living successfully with other dogs – big ones – in foster care, we think she’d feel more content in a home where she doesn’t need to share the love. She’s lived successfully with cats.

Bindi walks quite nicely on a lead, but prefers a harness to a collar. She’s a sensitive soul and can be a bit anxious in busy, noisy and unfamiliar places.

She’s not a barker and will only raise the bark alarm if appropriate e.g., someone knocks on the front door or pulls up in the driveway.

Preference will be given to a home where someone is around most of the time, there are no other dogs in residence and, importantly, where Bindi enjoys indoor privileges. This girl has never slept outside in her life, so indoor comfort – including co-sleeping with her humans – is the order of the day.

Bindi weighs 23 kg.

Those interested in meeting Bindi, should please complete the online application form at southerndownsark.com.au/apply-to-adopt/ and ensure that they include photos of their yard and fencing.

She is desexed, vaccinated and microchipped and her adoption fee is $495.
