Fruits of our labour

It’s Showtime! The Fruit and Veg section is always a favourite section for public viewing.

The stewards Gillian Boucher, Ron Anderson, Alan Carnell and Rodney Haynes are always on hand to offer assistance and look forward to receiving your entries. We are feeling for those growers who have recently lost their crop and income from the devastating hailstorm. With the crop competition sponsored by Nutrien Ag Solutions, hail damage is overlooked in judging.

Our highlights in this section always include the wall displays, sponsored by Howard Trade Centre, the big pumpkin sponsored by Orchard Services, the Primary School vegetable creatures sponsored by Sam’s Farm Fresh Fruit and Vegetables and the Scarecrow Competition.

A sincere thankyou to all our loyal sponsors – Howard Trade Centre, Bendigo Agribusiness, Nutrien Ag Solutions, Stanthorpe Elders Ltd, Eastern Colour Strawberries, Stanthorpe Lions International, Sam’s Farm Fresh Fruit and Vegetables, Orchard Services, Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate and Limberlost Compost.

A special thank you to the Gasparin family and friends. Congratulations Genevieve our Fruit and Vegetable Showgirl.
