Call for volunteers

Southern Downs Regional Council is calling for volunteers to assist with all aspects of running the Rose City’s big 150th birthday bash in May.
Organiser Tracy Vellacott said there was going to be a great need for volunteers across a range of areas.
“We’ve got 10 days of fantastic activities planned, and it really is going to be an exciting event,” Mrs Vellacott said.
“We’re calling on people to help with everything from ushering at our Variety Nights to assisting with lighting and audio visual work, to crowd direction, and helping to set up and pack down at the 150th Family Fun Day.”
If you have some time to give a helping hand, contact Bette Bonney at the Volunteer Database on 0459 098 612 or volunteerswck@gmail.com
