Nobby robbery vehicle located

Police have located the vehicle stolen during an armed robbery in which a 43-year-old Clifton man was shot at Nobby on Sunday.
The vehicle was located about 10am on Monday on Ted Mengle Road at Nobby.
On Sunday afternoon a man was standing inside a convenience store in Tooth Street about 3.45pm when an unknown man entered, confronting the victim before stealing his car keys and discharging a firearm once.
At time of print, the victim was still recovering in Toowoomba Base Hospital with a gunshot wound to his leg. His condition is considered to be stable.
A teenager male shop assistant was uninjured during the incident.
The offender left the store and fled the scene in the victim’s white 2000 Holden Statesman sedan, similar to the one pictured.
The offender is described as aged between 35 and 45 years, about 180cms tall with a tanned complexion and brown hair.  He was wearing a motorcycle helmet, balaclava and dark clothes.
