Killarney says thank you to Allora service

Killarney Memorial Aged Care Ltd held a morning tea last week at which the residents and staff thanked the team at the Allora Medical Practice for their unwavering support over the past 12 months.
Since October 2010, Dr Leith Geisel and practice nurse Liz Henry have attended Kadimah Nursing Home and Leslie Place Hostel on a weekly basis to comprehensively cater for the needs of elderly residents and have provided on-call 24 hours a day, seven days a week care and support.
For the past six months, Dr Geisel has been able to broaden the visits to assist staff, their families and some community members as patients and has been in discussions with regards to future expansion including teleconferencing with city based medical specialists.
Through this association the Allora Medical Practice has facilitated visits to Killarney from dietician Brady Schultz and podiatrist Rebecca Gilroy of Firm Foundations Podiatry.
