Fashion, food and fun at Melbourne Cup luncheon

Get ready for fashion, food and fun this Melbourne Cup as The SCOTS PGC College Year 12 students enrolled in Certificate III in Events at the Southern Queensland Institute of TAFE host a Melbourne Cup luncheon.
As part of the Certificate III assessment, the students are responsible for arranging the entire event, including sourcing sponsorship, designing a poster, coordinating the venue and catering, all within a budget.
The students also decided to work with the Daniel Morcombe Foundation, to which they will be donating all proceeds from the event.
What: Melbourne Cup Buffet Luncheon
Where: Horizons Restaurant, 176 – 202 Dragon Street, Warwick
When: 12pm on Tuesday, November 1
Cost: $20 per person
