Keeping our families safe

Pave the Way will host a free one-day workshop, Planning for Now, Tomorrow and the Future, for families of people with disabilities in the Southern Downs area.
Jeremy Ward from Pave the Way is offering the workshop in Warwick, which will explore the issues of preparing and planning for the future and keeping people safe in the long term.
The workshop will look at a variety of issues – developing a vision and building networks of support; and guardianship and administration of wills and trusts. The workshop may also be of interest to adult brothers or sisters, or other members of your extended family.
Mr Ward has a personal and professional interest in these matters, both as a parent and as a lawyer with many years experience in advocacy and in the law as it relates to people with disabilities.
The workshop will be held on Wednesday, February 22, from 9.15am to 4.15am at the Coachman’s Inn Motel, 91 Wood Street, Warwick.
Morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea will be provided. For more details or to register contact Elaine Henderson on (07) 3291 5800 or free call 1300 554 402 or email pavetheway@pavetheway.org.au
