Member for Northern Tablelands Richard Torbay has welcomed $139,200 in state arts funding for programs and projects in the region.
In the mix, the New England Regional Art Museum (NERAM) has been allocated $27,000 for its Creating Memories project, plus $40,000 towards its annual program funding.
Opera North West receives $22,000 towards its annual programs, which includes Opera in the Paddock and a number of concerts in regional areas.
“These arts organisations contribute enormously to the cultural life of our region and beyond and well deserve this state funding support,” Mr Torbay said.
