Aquatic centre proves popular

THE Warwick Indoor Recreation and Aquatic Centre is proving extra popular with residents this winter.
Memberships have grown to more than 1000 since February, with a growth rate of about 23 per cent in the past year.
The air-conditioned centre is now gearing up for winter with several May Madness membership specials.
For any WIRAC 12-month membership purchased during May, new members will receive a complimentary member’s pack valued at more than $100.
The packs contain all the items needed to get your new membership started including a WIRAC shirt, towel, water bottle and gym bag.
Extra benefits are also available for gym or gold memberships.
“If you sign up for a 12-month gym or gold membership you also get access to the Face to Face Program which includes five free consultations with a WIRAC trainer to help get you on the right track towards achieving your goals,” WIRAC centre manager Don Warrener said.
“Winter is just around the corner and the air-conditioned facilities at WIRAC provide a great way to keep fit and healthy all year round.
“If you were thinking about joining, there’s no better time to do it.”
Standard membership for 12-months aquatic members is $420, however discounts apply and enquiries should be made at the centre.
