1. Beyonce- Renaissance

Beyonce’s new album is getting rave reviews, being labelled an “immaculate dance record”.

Pitchfork states it’s “a rich celebration of club music and its sweaty, emancipatory spirit” while the Guardian called it a “breathtaking, maximalist tour de force”.

The album is seemingly inspired by daydreams of partying during the pandemic. While 2013’s Lemonade had a few ballads, this album is pure dance music.

2. Phoebe Green- Lucky Me

Manchester native Phoebe Green released her debut album, Lucky Me, this month and is getting all the hype.

Her first project ‘02:00 AM’was released in 2016 when she was still doing her A-Levels, and Green has grown into both herself and her music since then.

While her previous work was defined by gentle guitars, this album is pure pop euphoria that reviewers are describing are “indie pop brilliance”.

3. Lauran Hibberd- Garageband Superstar

Lauran Hibberd’s new album Garageband Superstar delivers strong pop-punk vibes, featuring members of Limp Bizkit and Wheatus.

Hibberd has described her hometown of Cowes, on the Isle of Wight, as feeling like it’s stuck in a time warp, a couple of decades behind everywhere else.

Her new album takes advantage of this, delivering on the throwback to late 90s and early 2000s pop-punk we’ve all been looking for.
