Fun, free activities are on offer across the Southern Downs to celebrate the achievements and contributions of the region’s youth for Queensland Youth Week between 11 and 17 April.

From the Cosplay Parade through Rose City Shopping Centre to board games and Easter-themed crafts at the libraries, Southern Downs Regional Council has collaborated with local community organisations to coordinate a jam-packed program of events suited to a range of ages and interests.

One of the fun, colourful events during the week will be a cosplay-themed parade through Rose City Shopping Centre. With all the creative characters out in force, it’s sure to stop the foot traffic.

In Stanthorpe, free group classes will be held for those aged 12 to 25 at the Stanthorpe Fitness Centre.
