Let’s go back in time and dig up the truths of the town.

The Guided Cemetery Tour of Allora Cemetery is coming to the Jumper and Jazz in July Festival, and you better be quick because spots are filling up fast.

Colin Newport will be taking a lucky 15 people on a detailed visit to the cemetery where there will be history lessons and interesting facts.

He will go into detail about who is who, what they did in the town, and how they are important to Allora.

Feel free to spend the day in the town as the Cemetery tour is not the only event happening. Allora and District Historical Society secretary Wendy Adrey says they are embracing the historical part that has been included in the festival.

“We are opening our museums and have guided tours of the town as well as arts and crafts and a bridal exhibit that is showing 100 years of bridal wear, and this will be the last time it is on display,” Wendy said.

The tours are $10 per person with a limit of 15 people and the museums are $5 with children under 14 free.
