The beautiful cars of the hot rod club will be polished up and ready to go.

The chamois are out in force across the region as the owners of the more than 200 vehicles taking part in this year’s Grand Automobile Display on Palmerin Sunday 23 July from 9.30am to 2pm get their vehicles shining bright for the event.

A great addition this year is the Toowoomba Hot Rod Club (pictured) which will prove to be quite an attraction for car enthusiasts and general public alike.

From historic motorbikes, vintage/veteran, quirky retro with caravan, to sports and muscle cars, and extreme customized, enthusiasts are in for a treat. Many families return every year as there is so much for all ages to enjoy at the festival and especially on Grand Auto Day.

What will there be to see on the day? Here are just some of the clubs travelling in for the day:

Monaro, Fc/Fe, MG, JDM, Morgan Park Racers, Stanthorpe Historical Club, Warwick Veteran and Vintage,

and Pete’s Hot Rods Resto, plus many more individual participants from near and far.

Always a popular day, with all the colour and vibe of Jumpers and Jazz street festival, live Jumpin’ Jazz performers on three stages, Al fresco dining with great food or your favourite local café, quality coffee and wines.
