The 2024 Allora Show is about to begin and it is all thanks to the unsung heroes behind the scenes: the dedicated volunteers who bring the spectacle to life.

People from far and wide extend their efforts to help make the Allora Show turn and Vice President Carol Lyall is forever grateful.

“Volunteers from all walks of life, including judges, stewards, nomination booth attendants, bar staff, and canteen workers, contribute their time and energy to ensure the smooth operation of the event,” she said.

Recognising the immense contribution of volunteers and sponsors, Carol emphasised that without their support, the Allora Show would not be the resounding success it is today.

Their dedication and generosity serve as the backbone of the show, enriching the experience for attendees and participants alike.

“It’s for the community, run by the community,“ Carol said.

The Allora Show Society extend an open invitation to those eager to lend a helping hand.

Volunteers, whether local or from afar, are encouraged to reach out to the show society to offer their assistance.

“Anyone can call up, we will find them a job,” Carol said.

“Every pair of hands makes a difference.”

As the show unfolds, attendees can take comfort in knowing that behind the scenes, a dedicated team of volunteers works tirelessly to ensure that the magic of the Allora Show continues to thrive.
