Helen Harm, a prominent figure in Warwick’s real estate sector, has been a steadfast supporter of the Jumpers and Jazz in July festival since its inception. Her sponsorship predates her involvement in real estate.

Over the years, her sponsorship has evolved from the art to the children’s activities.

“Initially, I sponsored the wearable art, this only ran for a few years, I thought some of the work was really special,” she said.

Currently, Ms Harm focuses her sponsorship on children’s activities, understanding the importance of keeping young attendees entertained.

“As I know, from having four children, how important for the parents’ sanity it is to have something for the kids to occupy and enjoy when attending events,” Ms Harm said.

“Keep the kids happy and parents are happy too!”

Ms Harm’s motivation for supporting the festival stems from her desire to give back to the community she cherishes.

“I like to support the community I live and am involved in because it enhances my lifestyle activities too,” she said.

Her ongoing sponsorship has not only benefitted the festival but also her business.

“Keeping Helen Harm Real Estate in the forefront of a person’s mind ensures that when they want to buy or sell, they think of me.”

Her unwavering support for Jumpers and Jazz in July continues to enrich the festival and the Warwick community, highlighting the relationship between local businesses and community events.

She believes that the festival is vital for the Southern Downs region. “Jumpers and Jazz highlights our region and a lot of our features and places to revisit. Businesses and organisations need to be involved to be recognised by the visitors at a later date as a contact point for their investments.”

Encouraging other businesses to get involved, Ms Harm stated, “When you make your living from the community, I believe you should support the community. We benefit from contributions to improve what is here to enjoy.”

“The pleasure I get from seeing and hearing how great our region is in the eyes of visitors is great for our own well-being.

“The community, by and large, supports those who are seen and involved on a regular basis within the community.”
