Local plumber has everything you need

Stanthorpe local Andrew Quirk started up his business ABQ Plumbing earlier this year and has well and truly hit the ground running.

Andrew had been away from Stanthorpe for a year, working in Birdsville and then Airlie Beach, joking he needed a bit of different scenery.

At 22 years old, he says starting up the business is something he always thought he would do.

ABQ Plumbing offers “basically everything” plumbing-wise.

Andrew said they offer general maintenance work but will also come out for emergency work.

“If I can drive there I’ll do it,” Andrew said.

The business is available for renovations and can work on bathroom upgrades, pumps, water tanks, and more.

“We do a bit of everything,” Andrew said.

To keep everything in one place for locals, ABQ Plumbing works with a builder.

Andrew said this means locals have everything there when they go to get a quote, and don’t have to shop around.

But Andrew said if locals have people they prefer he’s more than happy to work with them.

“I also work closely with a couple of other plumbers,” Andrew said. “We can usually get stuff done quickly between us all.”

Andrew also offers earthworks and machinery.

ABQ Plumbing has access to a small excavator and bobcat they can use on jobs.

This means they can do their own work when required on jobs, such as creating water tank pads.

The bobcat and excavator are also available for any general earthworks.

Andrew said he’s been flat out since starting up the business.

“It didn’t take much to get the ball rolling,” he said.

You can contact Andrew by calling him on 0400 933 666, or by emailing him at abqplumbing0@gmail.com.
