New location but the same good old-fashioned service

Country gear for country people.

Crossdraw Country Co opened three years ago to fill a gap in the market and fill it they have.

In fact they have done so well that they have out-grown their first location and moved to new bigger premise, according to owner Tanya Roche.

“We moved to the new location as our lease was due to be renewed and we had out-grown the space,” she explained.

“We obviously knew that we would be needing a larger store and the leasing manager from McConaghy’s called in to chat about the possibility of joining them.

“The location was perfect with a large street frontage, and the timing fitted, so it all fell into place quite easily.

“Yes we are part of Rose City Shoppingworld, but we are still on Palmerin Street, not inside the centre.

“I felt that it was important to remain on Palmerin Street.”

The big move happened early this past month with the new location officially opening on 9 August, and Tanya said it seems to have been the right move.

“It is going wonderfully,” she said.

“Our customers are very excited when they come into the new store. It is light and bright and inviting.”

“We are able to offer more of what we had plus more ladies fashion apparel.”

It is the next step for the three-year-old business which provides country and western style clothes for the local community and surrounding areas.

“We opened as there was a gap in the market for quality country and western style apparel and footwear,” Tanya explained.

“Warwick and surrounding residents had to travel to Toowoomba or shop online to buy Ariat and Cinch brand products

“We stock Ariat boots, footwear, jeans and apparel for men, women and children, Cinch apparel for men women and children, Thomas Cook for children, Sunbody Hats, Adrift ladies fashion and Cowhide handbags and accessories just to name just a few brands we have available.”

They also continue to sell the very popular Big Country Toys.
