Friendlies AGM elects new friendly face

The Warwick Friendly Society elected a new person to their board at the recent AGM.

Warwick Friendly Society held their Annual General Meeting on Friday 26 November, electing a new person to take a seat on the board.

Current board member, Cate Sester, spoke to the meeting and was re-elected to the board.

Paul Noye, Phy Nguyen, Gerard Walsh, and Corinne Butler also spoke to the meeting before members cast their votes.

Corinne Butler, who specialised in Human resources, was elected to the board. She read out a letter of recommendation from Southern Downs MP James Lister, to the meeting.

Corinne also stated that her skills in human resources would be an asset to the board.

With the election of Corrine to the board and the stepping down of John Creed, the board is now majority female.
