Where to vote this election day

Locations throughout the Southern Downs will be open for voting this Saturday.

Northern Region voting locations:

In the lead up to Election Day, locals can vote early at Warwick Showgrounds in the Douglas Feez Pavilion.

The Warwick Showgrounds are on the corner of Kingsford Street and Albion Street.

The Showgrounds are open for early voting on Thursday 19 May from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, and on Friday 20 May from 8:30 am to 6 pm.

Warwick Showgrounds have an AUSLAN interpreter video, accessible parking, and assisted wheelchair access.

On Election Day, locals can vote at the following sites from 8 am to 6 pm:

• Warwick Indoor Recreational and Aquatic Centre, on the corner of Palmerin Street and Albert Street

• Warwick East State School, at 45 Fitzroy Street

• Warwick Showgrounds, in the Douglas Feez Pavilion, on the corner of Kingsford Street and Albion Street

• Warwick West State School, in Phillip Higgins Hall, at 17 George Street (does not have accessible parking)

• Deuchar-Massie Public Hall, on the corner of Massie-Bony Mountain Road, and Massie Hall Road (does not have accessible parking)

• Murrays Bridge State School, at 1378 Warwick

• Killarney Road (does not have accessible parking or wheelchair access)

• Yangan School Of Arts Hall, at 7-9 King Street (does not have accessible parking)

• Allora State School, at 21 Warwick Street

• Goomburra Public Hall, at 17 Inverramsay Road (does not have accessible parking)

• Maryvale State School, at 81 Taylor Street (does not have accessible parking)

• Pratten Public Hall, at 101 White Street (does not have accessible parking or wheelchair access)

• Killarney Senior Citizens Centre, 11 Ailanthus Street

• Leyburn State School, 34 Peter Street

Southern region voting locations:

In the lead up to Election Day, locals can vote early at St Paul’s Anglican Church Hall

The church is at 2 Corundum Street, Stanthorpe.

The church is open for early voting on Thursday 19 May from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, and on Friday 20 May from 8:30 am to 6 pm.

St Paul’s Anglican Church Hall has an inquiry officer, AUSLAN interpreter video, accessible parking, and assisted wheelchair access.

On Election Day, locals can vote at the following sites from 8 am to 6 pm:

• Dalveen Hall, at 38 Pine Crescent (does not have accessible parking)

• The Summit State School, at 34 Taggart Road (does not have accessible parking)

• Applethorpe State School, at 25576 New England Highway (does not have accessible parking)

• Amiens State School, at the corner of Amiens Road and Post Office Lane (does not have accessible parking)

• Stanthorpe Baptist Church, on the corner of Railway Street and Hillcrest Street
