Elders, Residents, Families and guests were joined together at the One Table Function Centre on the Churches of a Christ Campus on Monday 18 July.
Acknowledgement to Country was delivered, followed by a didgeridoo performance and an unveiling of artwork.
Our ‘Bringing the Light’ artwork has been unveiled at 24 Churches of Christ service centres as a reminder of our cultural inclusivity and how we can each Get Up, Stand Up and Show Up to create this.
‘Bringing the Light’ captures our story of connectedness.
We each have a place in this story and we each have a role to play in creating an environment that respects, celebrates and empowers First Nation’s People.
