Stanthorpe Rotary club celebrated their annual Pride of Workmanship Awards on Monday night at the Stanthorpe International Club.
These awards are an opportunity for business owners and managers in our district to recognise the integral role that their employees play in the success of any business or institution.
Guest speaker for the evening, Southern Downs Regional CEO Dave Burges, spoke about the Rotary theme of the evening and the importance of “doing it once and doing it well”. The CEO explained the great pride he has in his 360 employees and the great job they do in providing so many different services to the region.
Southern Downs Regional Council, Mayor Vic Pennisi presented the Awards on behalf of SDRC.
