Truck fire
According to Queensland Police, the Cunningham Highway was down to one lane at Tregony due to a truck fire (which was carrying beer) on Monday afternoon.
There were no injuries and motorists were advised to avoid the area.
Warwick drink and drug drivers
Last Friday at 8.30pm, a male from Warwick, 27, was found driving with relevant drug in system on Guy Street.
Later that night at 11.45pm, a 21-year-old male was involved in a single vehicle rollover on Percy Street.
He had a .099 alcohol reading and will appear in court on 26 September.
On Saturday at 2.25am, a 19-year-old Allora male was found drink driving on Walker Street.
A roadside breath test read .046 and he will appear in court on 15 August.
On the same day at 6.20pm, a 46-year-old Warwick male riding a motorcycle was involved in a minor single-vehicle traffic crash on the corner of Dragon and Wood Streets after drink driving.
He will also appear in court on 15 August.
Mobile phone theft
On Saturday at 2.00am, a Warwick resident lost their mobile phone in the vicinity of Albion and Wood Streets after leaving The Malthouse.
However, the individual retraced their steps and was unable to find it.
The missing phone was therefore rung and an unknown female answered, who then turned off the phone and there has been no contact since.
The matter is still under investigation.
Pratten Street break-in
At 6.30pm on Sunday night, a Pratten Steet resident returned to their home and discovered five people standing near the back door.
The individuals ran away to a vacant lot after the resident drove into the driveway with their headlights on.
The culprits are believed to have gained entry and the incident is still under investigation.
Schoch Road break-in
A Schoch Road property break-in that occurred on 14 and 15 July was reported to police, with the offender gaining entry to a garden shed through a window.
A quantity of garden tools were stolen and the matter is still under investigation.
