IAWA Home Care is an accredited Aged Care provider providing in-home services to any person over 65 who is registered with My Aged Care.

We are a grass roots, community based, not-for-profit organisation, committed to removing cultural and language barriers and ensuring the integration of people from all backgrounds into our multi-cultural Australian society.

We are an approved provider of the Commonwealth Home support Program, the Community Visitors Scheme, and the Home Care Packages Program.

The Home Care Packages Program is funded by the Australian Government and was implemented to support older people with complex needs to live independently in their own homes.

A Home Care Package is a tiered, coordinated package of care and services comprising of four levels.

Recipients are assigned a level depending on their assessed needs.

IAWA Home Care can assist any person registered with My aged Care to access a Home Care Package.

We can help you with the referral and assessment process and then work with you to establish the care and services that best suit your needs and goals.

We can then, co-ordinate the delivery of the care and services you require using our own qualified, nursing and care staff, local allied health professionals and local contractors.

We will also manage the financial aspect of your Home Care Package on your behalf, taking all the worry out of it for you and your family!

IAWA Home Care is committed to providing a supportive and compassionate service that enhances the wellness, reablement and individuality of our clients, whilst remaining in the comfort and familiar surroundings of your home, but still connected to your community.

Along with the services listed, we also offer End of Life care to our Package and Self-funded clients.

Should you choose to pass at home our qualified nursing team will provide compassionate and dignified care to you and ongoing support to your family.

We also continue to provide a liaison and advocacy service to our Italian-Australian and Australian clients and can accompany you for medical and telehealth appointments as well as shopping.

We want to re-iterate that we provide for everyone from all backgrounds.

As a not-for-profit organisation we rely on the generosity of our community via donations and volunteers.

We are looking to establish a new transport service, to allow members of our community to attend medical appointments in Warwick and Toowoomba.

We are looking for volunteers for this service so if you can help then please contact our office.

In addition, our volunteers provide companionship to elderly community members as part of the Community Visitors Scheme which is a beneficial interaction for both the recipient and the visitor and helps our elderly people remain connected.

If you or someone you know can benefit from our services or you wish to donate or volunteer your time, then please contact Deb Debnam or Tanya Hendry on the number below.

We are continually growing as an organisation and therefore have opportunities for employment.

If you are interested in joining our caring team of dedicated carers and support staff, then please get in touch.
