Three things to do this weekend

Leyburn Sprints

Leyburn Sprints is back, running on 20 and 21 August. From fast to slow, pre-50s classics to vintage caravans, and everything in between, you can see it all at the 2022 Historic Leyburn Sprints event weekend.

The sprints will be held at Macintyre St, Leyburn from 8 am both days. Tickets are $25pp for an adult daily pass or $35pp for the weekend. Children under 14 have free entry. For more information, visit www.historicleyburnsprints.com.au

Freestone Hall Trivia

Freestone Hall is holding a trivia night this Saturday 20 August, with proceeds going towards Freestone School. Tickets are $10pp and include a light supper as well as tea and coffee. Multi-draw raffles, an auction, and lucky door prizes will also be on offer. A full bar will be available as well.

Mitch King playing at Dalveen Hall

Mitch King will be performing at Dalveen Hall on Saturday 20 August. Since starting out busking in his hometown of Mount Tambourine, Mitch has gone on to sell out Australian headline shows, performed internationally and supported artists such as “Tones and I” and “America” the Band”.

Doors Open at 6 pm, with an optional dinner and drink on offer.

Joshua Vine kicks off the show at 7 pm, followed by Luke Pauley at 7:45 pm, with Mitch hitting the stage at 8:30 pm.
